Idaho Board of Health and Welfare Meets Thursday, November 19
 
The Idaho Board of Health and Welfare will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, November 19th, beginning at 11 a.m. on the 10th floor of the PeteCenarrusaBuilding, 450 West State St. in Boise. The Board will consider rules being presented to the 2010 Idaho Legislature.
 
Included in the rules for Board consideration are:
 
·  Updating the Idaho Reportable Disease list to include 2009 novel H1N1 pandemic influenza;
·  New rules for child care licensing resulting from Senate Bill 1112.  The new rules cover the criminal history background check process, outline the content of health and safety inspections to include water features and gun safety, and establish a meaningful staff-to-child ratio; and
·  Rules and minimum standards for alcohol and substance use disorders treatment and recovery support services for facilities and programs.
