The Board will consider new temporary rules for Emergency Medical Service providers that would go into affect on July 1 with Board approval. The temporary rules expand the continuing education opportunities for Emergency Medical Technicians from basic refresher courses to more advanced coursework to help them improve their skills. There also are rules that update the required equipment that EMS first responders must carry in their vehicles.
