Board of Health and Welfare Meets May 10

The Idaho Board of Health and Welfare will hold it regularly scheduled quarterly meeting on Thursday, May 10, in the 10^th floor conference room of the Pete T. Cenarrusa Building, 450 West State St. in Boise. The meeting is scheduled from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

The Board will review a new temporary rule for criminal history and background checks that will increase the fee to complete a background check from $55 to $70. Background checks are required for many people who work with vulnerable populations, such as children, people with disabilities and the elderly.
