Free Immunizations Available to Post Falls Middle School Students

Hayden – Panhandle Health District (PHD) will provide free immunizations on Thursday, April 18, to help Post Falls students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades meet the minimum immunization requirements for school. The immunizations will be available from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Post Falls Middle School cafeteria.

Students entering seventh grade in fall 2013 will need the Tdap, which protects against tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis, and the Meningococcal vaccines. A parent or guardian will need to accompany each student and should bring along the student’s immunizations records.

No appointments are needed. PHD and the Post Falls School District are teaming up to help students comply with the state requirements for vaccinations. PHD plans to work with other school districts this spring and summer to reach students throughout the area.
