The Idaho Board of Health and Welfare will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, August 15th, at 8:30 a.m. in the 10th floor conference room of the Pete T.  Cenarrusa Building, 450 W. State St., Boise. 

The board will review the appointment of former state legislator Joyce Broadsword as regional director for Regions 1 and 2 in north Idaho, and receive an update on the Division of Medicaid’s progress in implementing mandatory Affordable Care Act requirements.  The board also will review an appeal by Midland Manor and Riviera Residential Care for monetary fines levied against the Treasure Valley residential care centers due to repeated licensure violations. The meeting is expected to adjourn at approximately 4:15 p.m.
