Cooperative Extension's National Network for Child Care — Strengthening child care by linking the education, technology, and research resources of 105 Land Grant Universities, NNCC includes an extensive database of articles and publications on all kinds of topics relating to children.

Families and Work Institute — Non-profit organization that addresses changing nature of work and family life. We are committed to finding research-based strategies that foster mutually supportive connections among workplaces, families, and communities.

The Fathers Network — Information on the importance of fathers and fathering and how fathers can be good parents and parent educators. The site includes research, policy, and opinion documents to inform users about factors that support and hinder men's involvement in the lives of children. Also provides an electronic discussion group.

GrandsPlace — Information for grandparents and special others raising children.

Idaho Public Television's Family Pages — Information for parents about early learning and parenting with activities for children.

Idaho State Library's Read To Me Project — An essential mission of public libraries is to ensure that young children receive services and support that help them prepare for success in school and to become lifelong learners. The Read To Me web site has information and resources for parents to encourage early learning. Site also available in Spanish.

KidSource OnLine — The source for in-depth and timely education and health care information that will make a difference in the lives of parents and their children.

National Center for Fathering — This site is dedicated to all men who seek to be better dads. The goal is to meet men's need for ideas, information, and resources on fathering. Extensive listing of online resources and articles covering almost any "fathering situation" (new dads, adoptive dads, step-dads, single dads, long-distance dads, etc.).

National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse — NCPCA has developed material to help take some of the stress out of child rearing. We hope it helps parents and children get more enjoyment from everyday activities.

Parenting and Families: The University of Minnesota's Children, Youth and Family Consortium — With articles on parenting, grandparenting, discipline, and safety.

Parents as Teachers — Internationally respected family education and support program for parents with children from birth through age 5. The program is for all families.

Parents Encouraging Parents (PEP) FREE Online Parenting Classes — You can hear the lectures, ask questions, and participate in the discussion, all from home! All you need is a computer with speaker. It's easy and fun! These classes are designed for caring parents who want to learn all they can to promote the heath and happiness of their families.

Positive Parenting — Positive Parenting in Idaho offers Redirecting Children's Behavior classes, workshops and custom talks as well as ongoing support for graduates of the class. The national web site here offers links to parenting resources and information online and through newsletters.

The Children's Television Workshop OnLine — Contains entertaining and educational interactive games, activities, and stories for preschools, featuring the Sesame Street Muppets. Parents also can turn to the site for a wealth of valuable information and articles on family health, finance, learning and entertainment.

The Fatherhood Initiative Home Page — NFI’s mission is to improve the well-being of children by increasing the proportion of children growing up with involved, responsible, and committed fathers by educating and inspiring all Americans, especially fathers, through public awareness campaigns, research, and other resources.

UW-Cooperative Extension — Parenting — University of Wisconsin newsletters are age-paced and research-based. They have performed evaluations on the first series and found that parents really do better when they read it.
