The Idaho Food Stamp Program requires participants to recertify for Food Stamps every six or 24 months, depending on your household type. When your household is due for recertification, the Department will send you a recertification packet with the necessary forms and information to help you complete the process. The process is pretty simple: 1) complete the Recertification Form, 2) conduct an interview, and 3) send us verifications.
If you do not complete the Food Stamp recertification process, your benefits will end.
Complete the Recertification Form If you received notification that your Food Stamp benefits are ending and would like to continue receiving Food Stamp benefits, please download and compete the Food Stamp Recertification form and mail it to the address below. The Department will provide assistance if you need help completing the Recertification form.
To speed up the processing of your recertification, send verification documents with your completed form.
Treasure Valley Processing Center (TVPC) PO Box 83720 Boise, ID 83720
Conduct an Interview Once you have mailed your completed recertification form, you must call the department at 1-208-334-6700 or 1-877-456-1233 to conduct an interview. Interviews are conducted between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. (MST), Monday through Friday.

TIP: When you contact us for an interview using the numbers above, you will enter our automated phone system. This system provides you the option to hold your place "in line" on the phone and get a return call. When you call and you hear the estimated wait time is going to be longer than you would like to hold on the phone, you may choose for us to call you back. This option holds your place so that when your call is up to be answered, the system will automatically dial the phone number you left in the system.
