Breast and Curvical Cancer Program
Forms
The Department of Health and Welfare’s Women’s Health Check Program provides free mammograms and pap tests for low-income women who cannot access these services through their insurance. When these screenings identify cancer, Medicaid’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Program is there to ensure that these women receive the treatment they need. Breast and Cervical Cancer Program participants are eligible for all Medicaid benefits.
Participants enrolled in the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program may continue to receive Medicaid benefits including surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and drug therapy until their physician determines that their cancer is in remission and only requires continued monitoring.
For questions regarding the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program please contact (208) 332-7955.
