Qualified Substance Use Disorders Professionals

ALERT
  • The requirements for Clinical Supervision have been removed from rule. Please be aware of what BPA Health or Optum Idaho’s process is for Clinical Supervision, and Clinical Supervisor requirements after the July 1st 2016 change.

ALERT specific to QPs, QSUDPs, QSUDPTs and Clinical Supervisors currently working within the BPA Health publicly funded system:
  • Previously submitted QSUDP, QSUDPT and CS checklists will no longer be submitted to DHW after July 1st 2016.
  • Those wanting to work within the publicly funded network will need to make sure they meet IDAPA 16.07.17 requirements before beginning employment.
  • DHW will no longer be maintaining the “Qualified Substance Use Disorder Professional List.”
  • The current list will be removed from the DHW site and those previously approved will continue to meet IDAPA requirements as a CS, QSUDP, and QSUDPT.
