Veyo, LLC has terminated its contract with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare to provide Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Services (NEMT) for Medicaid beneficiaries in Idaho, effective March 5, 2018.

Health and Welfare and the State Division of Purchasing are working to secure the services of a new non-emergency transportation provider without disruption to Medicaid participants.

“We will continue to work with Veyo to ensure that Medicaid participants receive safe and reliable transportation services that meets their health needs. We are confident we will have a new NEMT provider in place by the time this contract ends,” Division of Medicaid Administrator Matt Wimmer said.

Approximately 100,000 NEMT trips are provided each month for Idaho Medicaid participants who need transportation to access their Medicaid-covered services.
