The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is publishing notice of pending rules in the Nov. 7 Idaho Administrative Bulletin regarding Medicaid Basic and Enhanced Plan benefits, as well as holding a public hearing about Child Support fees in November.

More information on each docket is provided in the docket number links below.

16-0303-1801: Rules Governing Child Support Services would increase fees for the annual child support services from a $25 fee to $35 fee; and the threshold of when this fee is imposed is being increased to $550.

16-0309-1809: Medicaid Basic Plan Benefits. This rule, regarding school-based Medicaid services, revises the definition of “personal assistant” to remove unnecessary job qualifications. The purpose of the rule is to make it easier for providers to offer services in a schoolbased setting.

16-0310-1801: Medicaid Enhanced Plan Benefits. This rule change will allow for Medicaid to enroll those dual eligible participants who have not elected to enroll in the coordinated MMCP into a mandatory Medicaid Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) product, which will administer and coordinate Medicaid benefits.
