º Age restrictions are dependent on the program in your area.

• Do you have a limited income? If you qualify for WIC, you will also qualify for Home Visiting.

• Are you open and interested to learn new things about being a parent and helping your child grow?

Other Helpful Assistance Programs

2-1-1 Idaho CareLine: a free information and referral service that helps families find free or low-cost resources, such as rental assistance, energy assistance, medical assistance, food and clothing, child care resources, emergency shelter, and more.

Food Stamp Program: helps low-income families buy the food they need to stay healthy.

Idaho Child Care Program: provides child care assistance to low-income, working families by paying for a portion of their child care.

Infant Toddler Program: coordinates a system of early intervention services to assist Idaho children birth to three years of age who have a developmental delay or who have conditions (such as prematurity, Down Syndrome, hearing loss) that may result in a developmental delay.

Medicaid: has different programs available that provide health coverage for children under age 19, parents or other related adults with children under age 19, and pregnant women.

Substance Use Disorder Program: provides resources for individuals struggling with the disease of addiction.

Women's & Children's Alliance: provides services to women, men, and their children experiencing or healing from domestic abuse.

Women, Infants, and Children Program: helps families by providing checks to buy healthy supplemental foods from local grocery stores, nutrition education, and breastfeeding information and support.
