Healthcare Transformation Council of Idaho (HTCI)

The Healthcare Transformation Council of Idaho's mission is to promote the advancement of person-centered healthcare delivery system transformation efforts in Idaho to improve the health of Idahoans and align payment to achieve improved health, improved healthcare delivery, and lower costs.

HTCI was established in 2019 to provide leadership and coordination to continue Idaho’s value-based payment transformation. HTCI creates workgroups and task forces to move ideas into action.  HTCI's goal is to advance the proportion of value-based payments in Idaho from 29% to 50% by July 1, 2023.

Meeting schedule

HTCI holds public meetings on the third Thursday of each month and produces regular reports to ensure transparency. Please refer to the upcoming meetings link for a current schedule of meetings for HTCI and its workgroups. If you have questions about the schedule or require assistance with another matter related to HTCI, contact the Office of Healthcare Policy Initiatives. OHPI convenes and facilitates the workgroups with guidance from HTCI.

HTCI Workgroups

The Payer Provider Workgroup supports the transition to value by identifying cost drivers that impact healthcare costs and developing strategies to reduce costs through statewide collaboration. The workgroup also facilitates the financial analysis of value-based healthcare payments statewide.
