If you need help finding a dentist:

Call 2-1-1 to speak with an agent at the Idaho Careline.  They are available to connect you with needed government, nonprofit, and community resources in your Idaho community.

Find a Medicaid Dentist: Idaho Medicaid contractor- Go to their website at Managed Care of North America (MCNA) or call their Participant Hotline toll-free at 1-855-233-6262.  Deaf or hearing impaired, please call 1-800-377-3529.  The MCNA Participant Hotline will help you or your client: 1) find an eligible dentist near you, 2) set up in-person or phone-interpretation services so you can communicate with your dentist (at no extra charge) and 3) connect you with transportation services for your appointment by giving you the contracted providers (MTM) phone number: 1-877-503-1261.

Idaho Advanced General Dentistry Program: Comprehensive dental care, preventive dentistry, periodontal surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and dental technology is available for persons covered by private insurance or through a sliding-fee scale.  Services are provided by supervising dentists, residents and clinic staff.


Idaho Primary Care Association: Community health centers provide sliding-fee services for medical, dental and behavioral health.  Find a community health center in a specific area in Idaho by accessing IPCA's map here.

Idaho Oral Health Alliance: The non-profit, membership-based oral health advocacy organization in Idaho that is leading collaborative efforts to bring optimal oral health to Idahoans through education, advocacy, and program development.

Delta Dental of Idaho- Community Outreach: The community outreach arm of Delta Dental invests in our vulnerable Idaho populations by providing a free cavity prevention clinic to low-income elementary and middle schools throughout the state (Grins on the Go) as well as access to free preventive and restorative dental procedures to low-income Idaho adults over the age of 60 (GrinWell for You).

American Academy of Pediatrics- Idaho Oral Health Chapter: An organization of 66,000 pediatricians and children's providers committed to the optimal physical, mental and social health and well-being for all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

Community Health Worker: Frontline public health worker (training course provided by Idaho State University and sponsored by the Statewide Healthcare Innovation Plan and the Idaho Healthcare Coalition including an oral health module).
