Professional Development Credit Options

Continuing Education Units

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW) has been authorized by the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses (IBOL) to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for courses we deliver to IDHW employees and to ancillary external attendees as a means to assist IDHW employees with meeting their licensure renewal requirements. IBOL has authorized the department to offer the following Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for sessions that met their criteria:

Social Workers (BSW-MSW-Clinical)
Counselors (LPC, LCPC)
Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT)

A Certificate of Attendance will be provided at the end of each session stating the training session title and the type and number of contact hours awarded. If needed, you may use the Certificate along with copies of handouts and/or PowerPoints to submit to your licensing board for consideration.
