Strong Minds Idaho
Parents, teachers and service providers will be equipped with practical tools to enhance the early development of children by learning how to build resilience, emotion regulation, executive functioning, and academic readiness skills. The training will focus on building mindfulness and character strengths in children, improving executive skills (i.e., working memory, inhibitory control, cognitive flexibility), and strengthening early school readiness and literacy (i.e., vocabulary, reading, quantitative reasoning).
Dr. Roger Olson, PsyD is a clinical psychologist at St. Luke's Center for Neurobehavioral Medicine. He has a passion for helping children and families thrive by building character strengths and enhancing relationship skills.
