Sensory Integration Strategies for the Home
This presentation will cover a basic understanding of sensory integration, resultant challenges in children as a result of dysfunction, and basic treatment/interaction strategies for home and community use. An understanding of sensory integration and basic interaction strategies will help providers and caregivers have an understanding of basic tools to use with children, why some children have sensory processing-related challenges, and when and how to seek additional resources so that children have more functional and fulfilling lives.
