Adolescent Prevention Program

The Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (APP) Program receives federal funding from the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) housed within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). APP provides sexual health programming to Idaho youth ages 10-18 to promote abstinence and provide comprehensive information about contraception to reduce the risk of unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STI), including HIV. The program also focuses on providing parent education that gives parents and caregivers resources and tools to talk about sexual health with their youth.
