Registered Free Medical Clinics

Free Medical Clinics may register with the State of Idaho through the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare if all the terms and conditions are met under Idaho Code Title 39, Chapter 77. Registration with the State of Idaho offers liability immunity to primary care clinicians who are not compensated for the care they provide. Registration requires completion and submission of an application with a one-time $50.00 processing fee.

As a Registered Free Medical Clinic, you may be eligible to receive donated prescription medications under the Idaho Legend Drug Donation Act, Idaho Code 54-1762. Rule may be found in IDAPA 27.01.01.380 (begins on page 73). You are encouraged to share this information with nursing homes in your area.
