EMS licensing and other rules pertaining to emergency medical services in Idaho fall under the jurisdiction of the DHW's Division of Public Health, Bureau of EMS and Preparedness. The mission of the bureau is to reduce disease, injury, and death through prevention, awareness, and quality.
