Idaho Medicaid hosts public hearing for Aged and Disabled Waiver renewal on May 19

The current Aged and Disabled §1915(c) waiver is set to expire on Sept. 30, 2022, and the department will request an effective date of Oct. 1, 2022, with a new term of five years for the renewal. Changes will include:

  • Updates to certain quality assurance metrics
  • Updates to reimbursement methodologies for certain services
  • Adjustments related to the flexibilities allowed in Idaho's Attachment K amendment in response to the coronavirus public health
  • emergency
  • Updates to align with recent changes to Idaho code

Idaho Medicaid will host a public hearing from 9 a.m. to noon MT at 450 W. State. St., Boise.
