The 211 Idaho CareLine is a free, statewide community information and referral service, and is a program of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Our comprehensive database includes programs that offer free or low-cost health and human services or social services. Use the 211 Idaho CareLine to connect with local nonprofits, charities, and faith-based organizations who can support with food, housing, mental health, and more. Simply dial 2-1-1 or 800-926-2588 or text 898211 to be connected to a 211 community resource specialist Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. MST.

Simply dial 2-1-1 and you can be connected to a 211 community resource specialist for health and human services available in your community.

In Idaho, 211 is the central contact point for health campaigns and supports Idaho Department of Health and Welfare agencies so the people of Idaho can easily be connected to resources and information offered in the State of Idaho, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. MST.

Topics include health and wellness, safety, poison control, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare-related programs, WIC, kinship guides, child care, and parenting tips and child development.
