EMS Advisory Committee

The Idaho Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee (EMSAC) is responsible for giving counsel and advice to the Bureau of EMS relative to implementing the EMS Act, Idaho Code Title 46, Chapter 9. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, gathering data and information on industry trends, national standards, clinical developments, regulatory agencies, and additional sources of information and actions affecting EMS agencies around the state of Idaho and the nation. EMSAC then uses this information to advise the Bureau of actions and directions that should be considered to continuously improve EMS agencies in our state. EMS Advisory Committee official meetings are open to the public, and anyone who practices, serves with, or has interest in Idaho EMS is encouraged to attend.

The Bureau of Emergency Medical Services is now part of the Idaho Military Division (IMD)!

The Health and Welfare website is temporarily hosting online content until it is migrated to IMD. Watch the EMS Move IMD video to learn additional details.
