Idaho Medicaid Program and Tribes of Idaho

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare consults on a regular, on-going basis with the six tribes in Idaho on matters relating to Medicaid eligibility and services. This committee was developed to ensure that Idaho’s federally recognized tribal governments are included in decision-making regarding changes in the Medicaid program that have a direct compliance cost or impact on their health programs.
