The Department of Health and Welfare is seeking public comment through July 31 on the Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Block Grant. Title V supports a spectrum of services, including filling in gaps in health care services for children and youth with special health care needs. The MCH program collects input about existing services and programs, population needs, and emerging issues to make sure the MCH Program is guided by the needs of Idaho. The Idaho Behavioral Health Council will have its quarterly meeting from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 8 in the Lincoln Room at the Idaho Supreme Court, 451 W. State Street, Boise.
Idaho TSE System Council will meet from 9-10 a.m. MT July 12 via Webex. Details in the agenda. Under Idaho Statute 56-1028 (8) "Facilitate the implementation of nationally accepted standards throughout the voluntary system," the TSE Council will discuss and vote on revising the state's TSE Field Trauma Triage Guidelines to align with the national's two-tier system.
