Employment and Training Provider Resources

Job training, education, career skills, and job readiness are critical elements in helping Idaho individuals become employable and obtain better paying jobs. We rely on our partners to expand the reach and breadth of the employment & training (E&T) programs available in Idaho.

Why you should partner with the E&T Program

Becoming an E&T community partner is easy, and allows you to connect with a larger audience, as well as provide your current participants with more benefits and supportive services.

As a community partner, you will have access to:

  • Potential funding and partial reimbursements for administering your programs
  • Additional services for your customers, including job search, job skills training, education expenses, and transportation
  • New customer referrals from the E&T Program

Contact E&T to learn more about becoming a partner today!

The Employment and Training (E&T) program provides individuals with the skills, training, and experience they need to improve their employment opportunities. Our goal is to help individuals on their path to self-sufficiency and reduce their reliance on state benefits.
50-50 reimbursement opportunity

By providing employment and training programs to Idahoans currently receiving SNAP benefits, you have the opportunity to be reimbursed for your costs associated with those participants, up to 50 percent, of eligible expenses from the department. Possible expenses include books, tools, uniforms, licensing fees, tuition and course fees, dependent care, administration fees, program overhead, and transportation costs.

Find out if you are an eligible 50-50 partner by completing the 5 minute self-assessment!
