The Idaho Healthcare Directive Registry is a secure cloud-based system that allows you to safely create, store, and share your Advance Directive and POST (Physician Orders for Scope of Treatment). It safeguards your wishes in the event you are unable to communicate or make decisions about your medical care.
The new Idaho Healthcare Directive Registry is available online to easily and securely create your Advance Directive. When you create and sign a directive in the new system, it immediately becomes part of the registry. You can share your Advance Directive with your family, Healthcare Agent, or others you choose through “My Shared Circle.” Sharing allows others to securely view your documents to make treatment decisions based on your wishes if you are unable to speak for yourself. You can also change or revoke your Advance Directive at any time through the secure system.
Creating and storing your Advance Directive in the registry offers peace of mind in knowing your documents are available to your family and healthcare team whenever they are needed.
