What do you know about Hepatitis C? Hepatitis C is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis C virus. Most people who get infected will develop a chronic, or lifetime infection. If left untreated, chronic hepatitis C can cause serious health problems including liver disease, liver failure, and even liver cancer.
If you have a medical appointment but you do not have a car, cannot operate a car, or do not have a friend or family member who can take you, you can request transportation through MTM (Medical Transportation Management, Inc.) for Medicaid eligible participants. You may reach MTM to request transportation by calling 877-503-1261 to schedule an appointment Monday-Friday 8am to 6pm.
