Regional Early Childhood Committee (RECC) | Idaho Department of Health and Welfare

Regional Early Childhood Committees (RECCs) exist under Idaho state statute. They are guided by the Infant Toddler Coordinating Council, as required in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The Council advises and assists the Infant Toddler Program in the performance of its responsibilities under Part C of IDEA.

MISSION

Advise and assist the Idaho Infant Toddler Program in the implementation of the early intervention system
Provide information on early childhood development
Coordinate and collaborate with community partners to support at -risk young children and children with delays or disabilities
