Board of Health and Welfare to meet Aug. 18

The Idaho Board of Health and Welfare will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 8 a.m. MT Thursday, Aug. 18, via Webex and in Boise.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, meeting attendance is available via Webex. Reporters who would like to join the meeting by Webex should RSVP to Public Information Officer Greg Stahl at the email address above for a video link. In accordance with title 74, chapter 2, the Idaho Open Meetings Law, limited in-person attendance is available in Room 10A in the PTC Building, 450 W. State St., Boise.

The Board of Health and Welfare is a rulemaking and advisory body that can adopt, amend, or repeal rules and standards of the department. The board's seven citizen members are appointed by the governor and each represent one of seven geographic regions of the state. The board also includes the department director, a representative from the governor's office, and the chairs of the germane committees for the Health and Welfare committees in the Idaho Legislature.
