The Idaho Employment and Training (E&T) program connects Idahoans with the resources they need to get a meaningful job to support themselves and their families.
If you are a recipient of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Temporary Assistance for Families in Idaho (TAFI) benefits, you also have access to services through the E&T program.
If you are receiving Food Stamps benefits, participation in the Employment and Training (E&T) program may be required to receive or keep your benefits if you meet the following criteria:
Are an adult between the ages of 18 and 51
Is not disabled
Does not have a child under 18 in the household
Is not pregnant
You must meet work requirements by either participating in the E&T program or working at least 80 hours per month.
If you are not required to participate, you still have access to the variety of services offered.
The E&T program is here to help you find and keep a meaningful job with a livable income. MAXIMUS operates the E&T program (E&T) on behalf of DHW.
