The Idaho Commission on Aging works to provide services that improve the quality of life for seniors and people with disabilities so they can live independent, meaningful and dignified lives within the community of their choice.

This agency provides solutions for seniors, people with disabilities and caregivers aimed at securing safe, healthy, community-supported and independent living options through comprehensive information, assistance, advocacy, and planning efforts.

Idaho SHIBA provides free, unbiased Medicare benefits information and assistance for Idahoans.

Utilize a comprehensive, free online tool that connects older adults with benefits they may qualify for.
Healthcare
This program provides an alternative to nursing facility admission for people who are aged, blind, or disabled by providing nursing home level care services to participants in their homes and communities. It can also pay for services in assisted living communities and adult foster homes.

The Idaho Caregiver Alliance is a coalition of individuals and organizations focused on expanding opportunities for respite across the lifespan.
