People are different, and so are their healthcare needs. 

DISABILITY SERVICES
The Department of Health and Welfare can help provide a number of services to assist adults and children with developmental disabilities.
ADULT SERVICES
The Department of Health and Welfare’s Women's Health Check Program provides free mammograms and pap tests for women with low incomes who cannot access these services due to not having insurance, or their insurance will not cover these screenings.
DISABILITY SERVICES
The Medicaid for Workers with Disabilities (MWD) program is health insurance for people who work and who have a disability.
ADULT SERVICES
This program provides pregnant women health services throughout their pregnancy and 60 days during their post-partum period.
LONG TERM CARE
If you or your spouse are entering a nursing home, you may qualify for Medicaid benefits, including paying a portion of your nursing home costs.

Idaho Medicaid’s Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) project team is pleased to announce that Idaho has received initial approval of the Statewide Transition Plan (STP) from the federal waiver authorities.
