The Idaho Transformation Collaboration Outcomes Management (TCOM) Institute. Collaboration through the Idaho Transformation Collaboration Outcomes Management (TCOM) Institute increases the Youth Empowerment Services (YES) System of Care’s effectiveness of services delivered to children, youth and families through three primary elements: The Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Governance Committee: This Committee takes the lead in setting strategy based on the findings of Collaboratives and steers explorations based on system need. CANS Learning Collaboratives, including the Statewide Learning Collaborative and Regional Learning Collaboratives: These collaboratives focus on system initiatives, both in strategy and practice, informed by regional and user experiences and report findings to the CANS Governance Committee. The CANS Training Network, including Certification Training, Treatment Plan Training and Supervision Training: The Training Network is based more in practice than strategy. The training network informs basic, advanced and supervisor best practices. If placed in a pyramid structure, as in the webpage’s graphic, with the base anchored more in practice and the top focused on strategy, the CANS Training Network pieces form the bottom of the pyramid and inform upward to the mid-level CANS Learning Collaborative pieces, which then inform the strategy-focused CANS Governance Committee. All of these elements work in unison to manifest practical outcomes in the Institute's values: Person-Centered Care, Collaborative Decision Making, Accurate-Consensus Based Care and Local Contributors If you have questions, comments or would like to see how you can be involved please use the contact form below or email ITI@dhw.idaho.gov.
