Children's Traditional Support Services

Children’s Traditional Support Services are available for members with Medicaid who are birth to 18 years of age,have a qualifying developmental disability (DD) diagnosis, are Medicaid eligible, and have functional limitations in at least three of seven domain areas. Traditional Support Services can be provided by Developmental Disabilities Agencies (DDAs) or Independent Respite or Community-Based Supports Providers.

 

Apply for services

To apply, an application is submitted to the department with any documentation indicating a qualifying DD diagnosis. After applying, you will be contacted by an independent assessor who will meet with you to determine your child’s budget. You will work with a case manager to write a plan using your budget to obtain the support services for your child.
