Children's Habilitation Intervention Services (CHIS) is available for members with Medicaid who are birth through the month of their 21st birthday and demonstrate a need for Intervention Services. Children's Habilitation Intervention Services can be provided by Developmental Disabilities Agencies (DDAs) or Independent Providers.

Children's Habilitation Intervention Services is also used to produce positive, meaningful changes in behavior that incorporate functional replacement behaviors.
