Continuing Education Units

Continuing Education Units

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW) has been authorized by the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses (IBOL) to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for courses we deliver to IDHW employees and to ancillary external attendees as a means to assist IDHW employees with meeting their licensure renewal requirements.

For conference sessions that meet IBOL's criteria, IDHW has been authorized to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the following disciplines:

  • Social Workers (BSW-MSW-Clinical)
  • Counselors (LPC, LCPC)
  • Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT)

A Certificate of Attendance will be provided at the end of each session stating the training session title and the type and number of contact hours awarded. Conference attendees may submit the Certificate along with copies of handouts and/or PowerPoints to their licensing board for consideration.
